Seth Zalkin serves as a Senior Operating Advisor to Corbel focused on food and beverage brands, manufacturers, retailers and creative businesses.

Seth is a Managing Partner at Astor Group, an independent investment banking and merchant bank.  Seth focuses on food and beverage brands, manufacturers, retailers and creative businesses. Most recently, Seth served as the CEO of Brooklyn Brands, a commercial baked goods manufacturer, leading the company from its acquisition to its sale to Taguchi & Co., one of the largest bakery and dessert manufacturers in Japan. Seth helped drive the Company’s nationwide growth, overseeing the construction of a modern manufacturing facility, building a talented team, expanding distribution into over 10,000 retail locations and developing the company’s brand and marketing strategy.

Seth began his career as a corporate attorney with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison where he executed mergers and acquisitions and negotiated private equity investments for clients such as the New York Yankees, Oaktree Capital Management, Time Warner, and General Atlantic, leaving to become CEO of a venture backed online nightlife platform at the intersection of ticketing, community, and SAAS.

J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
