Zoltan Berty serves as a Senior Operating Advisor to Corbel focused on sourcing and executing equity investments in partnership with Independent Sponsors.

Zoltan brings more than 25 years of experience closing and managing private equity and junior capital investments in lower middle market companies.  Most recently, Zoltan was a co-founder and partner at Prolign Capital. Along with its predecessor entity, ORIX Private Equity Solutions, Prolign was one of the leading equity partners for the Independent Sponsor community having invested over $700 million across 40 Independent Sponsor transactions between 2012 and 2022.  Prior to joining ORIX Private Equity Solutions, Zoltan served as Managing Director for Gladstone Capital Corporation, where he originated new investment opportunities and coordinated the execution of debt and equity investment transactions.  He also has prior investment experience with Caltius Mezzanine, D.E. Shaw & Co.’s Direct Capital Group and CapitalSource Finance.  Zoltan started his career in public accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive license).

Zoltan received a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern California, where he graduated magna cum laude.
